FBIL has been computing and publishing the Reference Rates (USD/INR, EURO/INR, GBP/INR and JPY/INR) on a daily basis since 10th of July, 2018. Before that, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was responsible for this calculation and publication.
The reference rates are published by 01.30 p.m. on its official website on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays in Mumbai.
The following are the reference rates as on 30th September, 2022 as published by the FBIL.
INR / 1 USD = 81.5522
INR / 1 GBP = 90.7703
INR / 1 EUR = 80.1093
INR / 100 JPY = 56.44
