GST Authorised Signatory Letter Format for Partnership Firm

There is no fixed format of authorisation letter for GST registration for partnership firms. You can prepare your own letter with all the required contents in it as necessary.

Hereunder is a template of such an authorisation letter for GST registration for partnership firms, which is made as a declaration by the existing partners of the firm. Wherein the identity details of the authorised signatory should come out clearly.

The authorised signatory also has to give a consent letter to the effect that he is willing to act as the authorised signatory of the firm.

The partners must take note that the actions of the authorised signatory is binding on the firm and partners. Hence, they should choose a reliable person for this. Most of the time, one of the partners acts is authorised for this purpose.

1. That we are the partners of a partnership firm in the name and style of M/s. ........................... having its principal place of business at (Full Address);

2. That we are in the process of registering the aforesaid firm under the prevailing Goods and Services Tax Act of India;

3. That we hereby authorise Mr./Ms. (Name of the Authorised Signatory), (Designation) (PAN: .................) to act as an Authorised Signatory for the aforesaid firm to obtain GST registration in the name of the firm;

4. That Mr./Ms. (Name of the Authorised Signatory), (Designation) is further authorised to sign and submit application(s), undertaking(s) and all such document(s) as may be necessary for obtaining GST registration on behalf of the firm;

5. That all the actions as may be taken by Mr./Ms. (Name of the Authorised Signatory), (Designation) within the purview of the authorisation as given above shall be binding on the firm and thereby on us as well.

Acceptance as an Authorised Signatory
